As the clock struck midnight and fireworks illuminated the Austin skyline, Paige and Grant celebrated not only the start of a new year but also the beginning of a beautiful journey together as a married couple. Their New Year’s Eve wedding at The Hotel Van Zandt was a night to remember, filled with elegance, style, and an abundance of love.
A Dazzling Palette of Colors
The color scheme for Paige and Grant’s wedding was a stunning combination of black, white, forest green, and gold. These colors set the stage for a glamorous and sophisticated affair that perfectly captured the essence of a New Year’s Eve celebration. The black and white provided a classic and timeless backdrop, while the forest green and gold accents added a touch of luxury and festivity.
The Venue
The Hotel Van Zandt, nestled in the heart of Austin’s Rainey Street Historic District, served as the perfect setting for Paige and Grant’s special day. With its modern yet warm ambiance, the hotel provided a unique blend of sophistication and Austin’s signature laid-back charm.
Elegance and Style
Paige looked breathtaking in her white fitted gown with a train that seemed to go on forever. Her bridal bouquet (Botanical Jane) incorporated white roses, pops of black in white anemones, and lush forest greenery, perfectly in tune with the color palette. Grant was dapper in a classic black tuxedo with a black bowtie and white pocket square, complementing the overall theme beautifully.
A Night of Celebration
The reception took place in the hotel’s stylish ballroom, where the black and white color scheme continued to reign supreme. The tables were adorned with alternating black satin crush, ivory dupioni, and green satin linens with coordinating napkins (Monarch Event Rentals). Flickering floating candles and lush floral centerpieces added a touch of opulence to the décor.
Guests enjoyed a sumptuous dinner, followed by toasts and heartfelt speeches that left hardly a dry eye in the room. As the clock inched closer to midnight, the energy in the room grew more electric. The dance floor became the center of attention, with everyone dancing the night away (Hype Rhythm).
A Countdown to Forever
As the final minutes of the year ticked away, the DJ counted down to midnight, and Paige and Grant shared a romantic kiss as confetti rained down around them (Altered Weddings and Events). The room erupted in cheers and applause, and the couple welcomed the new year with open hearts and arms.
A Memorable Start to Forever
Paige and Grant’s New Year’s Eve wedding at The Hotel Van Zandt was a night filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. It was a celebration of not only their love for each other but also a joyous welcome to the promise of a new year and a lifetime of happiness together.
Their choice of colors, the stunning venue, and the elegant details all came together to create a wedding that was nothing short of spectacular. As the clock struck midnight on that magical night, it was clear that Paige and Grant were not only starting a new year but also writing the first chapter of their beautiful love story. Event Julep Spotlight:
Designer: Rachel
Coordinator: Rachel
Paige & Grant
Rachel was AMAZING! We did the Peony Design Experience + Honeysuckle Experience and I cannot say enough good things about Event Julep. Rachel was there every step of the way from our first design consultation where she took our vague and unsure answers and channeled it into a beautiful and unique design package. She then helped manage all of the major vendors. Day of went off without a hitch. Everyone who was in the bridal party/in attendance kept commenting how this was one of the best run weddings they had been to it was so organized and ran smoothly. Cannot recommend Rachel and Event Julep enough!
